- HUNTINGTON: The New River Fall Leaf Peeper Train runs on October weekends for those wanting to see the New River Gorge’s beautiful fall landscape. There are also New River Excursion Trains that run from Huntington to Hinton just in time for Hinton’s Railroad Days Festival. There will be three places to board for every trip including Huntington, St. Albans, and Montgomery on October 15, 16, 22, and 23. - ROMNEY: Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad dinner trains, late June - early Oct., Saturdays, 6:30 to 9 PM. On Sept. 24, the Potomac eagle will celebrate “Heritage Days” with an all-day ride and tours of historic homes in the area.
- Seminole Gulf Railway - THE DINNER TRAIN has 4 Dining Cars in which the 5 course dinners are served. All meals are prepared on board according to your order placed to the wait staff after boarding. Special Holiday Trains serve Dinner only. THE MURDER MYSTERY SHOW is performed 5 nights a week Wednesday through Sunday on the Dinner Train. The Show itself is enacted in the Dining Cars, you are actually dining on Stage between Acts. EXCURSION TRAINS are scheduled to run 3 days a week, presently on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays during day time hours. Snacks & drinks are served on board, and a narration on local rail history is given during the ride, pointing out points of interests to the Fort Myers area. The ride takes you across the scenic CALOOSAHATCHEE to BAYSHORE and returns generally after a one and three quarter hour trip.
