  • Cochin Port Trust, Kerala, India, ::: The Port of Cochin is located on the Willingdon Island at latitude 9 degree 58' north and longitude 76 degree 14' east on the south west coast of India about 930 k.m. south of Bombay and 320 k.m. north of Kanyakumari.

  • Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust ::: Jawaharlal Nehru Port is located within the Mumbai harbour on west coast of India. The port has two dedicated terminals. The Container Terminal with 680 meters quay length (three berths) is designed and equipped to handle large size container vessels. The Bulk Terminal having quay length of 712 meters is for import of dry bulk cargo from vessels of size upto 70,000 DWT. In this terminal, two berths (500 meters total quay length) are mechanized. One berth initially constructed as "Service Berth" has been subsequently put to use for handling of Car Carriers, Liquid Bulk and to a small extent for handling import/export of Dry Bulk using ships gears and re designated as "Multipurpose Berth.Both sides of the berth are being used for handling Liquid cargo.
  • Mormugao Port Trust--Premier Iron exporting port of India.  Mormugao Port, one of the oldest ports on the west coast of India, with a fine natural harbour, has been relentlessly serving the nation in its economic development for over a century. The Port was declared a Major Port on 2.12.1963.
  • New Mangalore Port Trust ::: New Mangalore Port is a modern all-weather port situated at Panambur, Mangalore (Karnataka State in South India), on the West Coast of India, 170 nautical miles South of Mormugao & 191 nautical miles North of Cochin Port.
  • Paradip is one of the India's twelve Major Ports, the main out-let and in-let for the sea- borne trade on the eastern part of the country covering states such as Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. It is also the nearest deep port for the entire East-North-East part of the country. The natural resources and industrial products of this wide spread hinterland are immense with a natural depth of about 13 metre, the port is located inside a lagoon which offers problem-free berthing facility all the year round.
  • Port of Mumbai has long been the principal gateway of India. Over the years it has played a dominant role in developing the country's trade and commerce. Its rise to eminence was largely due to its strategic location, situated almost midway along the west coast of india and is gifted with a natural harbour providing ample shelter for shipping throughout the year. There are three enclosed wet docks namely Indira, Prince's and Victoria Docks. For handling Crude and Petroleum products, there are four jetties at Jawahar Dweep an Island in the Mumbai harbour. Chemicals and Products are also handled at Pir Pau. The port, during its long chequered history of over 126 years, has been called upon to handle all types of cargo--handling upto approximately one sixth of the total sea-borne trade of the country.
  • Tuticorin - Tuticorin has been a centre for maritime trade and pearl fishery for more than a century. The natural harbour with a rich hinterland, activated the development of the Port, initially with wooden piers and iron screw pile pier and connections to the railways. Tuticorin was declared as a minor anchorage port in 1868. Since then there have been various developments over the years.
