The Sable Saanen is a breed of goat. The Sable is descended from Saanen goats brought to America by Europeans. In 2005 the Sable was recognized as a separate breed. Before the sable was recognized as a separate breed, they were often diposed of. They are just basically Saanens that aren't white. they are sometimes referred "The Saanens in party clothes".
